Michael Gi is a singer/songwriter and
entertainer from St. Louis, Missouri.
He is best known for his
charismatically explosive style to
Rhythm and Blues singing. Having
stated this…Michael’s love for music
has chosen him, thus causing him to
pursue a dream and fulfill a vision
while assisting others in the music
industry to reach their own goals as
well.   Michael understands not only
the talent of an entertainer, but he
also understands the heart, soul and
drive that accompanies them.  He has
obtained this…not by third party
conversations, but has tasted of the
trenches himself; crossing the nation
with performances as well as gracing
some international locations. Michael
Gi has opened and appeared on
some of the same venues for such
established artist as “The Sounds of
Blackness”, and Atlantic Record's
recording artist Gerald Albright.
Michael has also worked within the IT
field for 10 years as a computer
consultant and analyst – assisting
people with networking issues as
well as consulting those that need
assistance with choosing the proper
computer equipment and software
applications to go along with the
devices.  The more he worked on
computers the more he noticed the
music industry leaning towards
accepting computers as becoming
the standard of tangible music
recordings.  Well, while recording in
the kitchen of his home, the
inevitable happened.  On September
30, 2004, his love for music along with
his computer savvy and of course,
with the help of God, he would
embark upon something he had been
pursuing for a while…the start of his
own record label.  The name
chosen…Family Affair Entertainment
(F.A.E.).  Now residing in San Diego
CA, he is currently using this vehicle
[F.A.E. Records] to put others in a
position also, that their music too can
be heard by music lovers of the world!
CEO
Michael Gi
The CEO of F.A.E. Records demand
 nothing less than complete
commitment from their artist
concerning the product being
constructed.  It is normal at the
F.A.E. studio named "The kitchen",
to see a vocal session, a recording
session, and  even a writing
session go 4, 6, 8, or even 10
hours in length or more because
of the dedication to perfection by
the artist and producers - who at
this grass roots stage...strive not
to equal any competitors, but
rather excel past them.  This will
insure that F.A.E. will deliver a
product that the public will surely
embrace, both young, and
the-young-at-heart.  By continuing
to keep this frame of mind, F.A.E.
Records realizes that both artist
and label - when shooting for the
moon will in no doubt land among
the stars!
